The G20 EMPOWER Meeting in Kerala featured an exclusive exhibition focused on Women-Led Development. It was curated by the National Institute of Fashion & Technology, showcasing various themes of women’s empowerment. This Exhibition highlighted women’s engagement in the cultivation and production of Tea, Coffee, Spices and Coir. The exhibition emphasised upon the value of indigenous, nutrient-rich coarse grains, including millets and the various products of India’s Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs). Additionally, Indigenous Toys, Handloom & Handicrafts crafted by women, Ayurvedic Oils and other wellness products by the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) were also displayed. With its exceptional digital features, the exhibition guaranteed an engaging and interactive experience.

The physical exhibition curated by the National Institute of Fashion & Technology showcased various products (including a total of 54 One District One Products (ODOPs) and Geographical Indications (GI) from across India, services, and initiatives by women crafts persons and entrepreneurs. Products included Handicrafts/Artifacts by Women Artisans, Farm Produce by Women-led Food Processing Organisations, Services offered through Community Leadership by Women at the Grassroots and Initiatives taken towards Financial and Digital Inclusion of Women
