Taking forward the vision of G20 EMPOWER to accelerate women’s leadership and empowerment across G20 member countries, this group focuses on increasing avenues and opportunities for women’s leadership roles and sharing best practices of women led development. It also focuses on encouraging the private sector to recognize and redefine the concept of women’s leadership through a supportive ecosystem that will encourage more women leaders at all levels including at the grassroots. The WG is contributing to set the agenda to accelerate the ambitions of the G20 EMPOWER Alliance of an inclusive and equitable workplace and arrive at an actionable set of recommendations for embedding priority actions in policies and practices with focus on following themes:
